In winter, Central Park is mostly white and grey. However, the 7500 Gates, adorned of translucent saffron fabric, lit the landscape as its horizontal progression throughout Central Park contrasted with the characteristically vertical of New York City. It reminded me of a Tobetan monks procession. The saffron fabric swaying in the wind was reminiscent of the Tibetan prayer flags which infuse the mind with peace, tranquility and a sense of well-being... Some visitors wore saffron clothing to be in total harmony with the exhibition. It was a really magical day ! See you soon Roseline Morel
