Nelson Dias-Lopes is a Bresilian painter living and working in Paris, France since 1976.

In 1989, his collages took depth with woods and cartons assemblies. Two years after Nelson leave the collage for the pure painting.

Nelson uses oil stick, a technique close to pastel, which creates grains and transparency to the colours.
