Christine Jean, is a French painter.
A few years ago she spent a lot of time in Northwest French coast, at "la Baie de Somme" , which she painted from above, between land and water at rythm of the tidal flow and movement of clouds.
This combination of light and mineral or vegetal material is at the heart of her research.
She graps the colors of the sky and shows the various layers of sand, silt or algae.
She impresses our brain with her vision of Nature, spectacle both changing and changeless, snapshot of the passing moment.
